3 presidents came to NY: 'Not one of them is here to appear in court!'

New York event raises a record-setting $25 million.

NEW YORK (AP) — Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and some big names from the entertainment world teamed up Thursday night to deliver a rousing New York embrace of President Joe Biden that hauled in a record-setting $25 million for his reelection campaign.

The mood at Radio City Music Hall was electric as Obama praised Biden’s willingness to look for common ground and said, “That’s the kind of president I want.” Clinton said simply of the choices facing voters in 2024: “Stay with what works.”

Biden himself went straight at Donald Trump, saying his expected GOP rival’s ideas were “a little old and out of shape.”

Moderator Stephen Colbert, in an armchair conversation with the trio, called them “champion talkers” and joked that the three presidents had come to town “and not one of them is here to appear in court,” a dig at Trump’s many legal troubles.

I've wondered what their opinion (along with GWB) is of the presidential immunity issue. I have not heard anything substantive from any of them on the subject. If all four came out against it, that would undermine Trump's case that it is needed for the presidency to be effective.

But, but, Trump went to a cop’s funeral while these three were joshing it up. It’s a big deal on hate radio today.

He said to media afterwords “Police are the greatest people” but at his rallies he refers to Jan 6th insurrectionists as hostages and salutes when their recording of the National Anthem is played.

The Cynical Hypocrisy Behind Trump’s Visit to an NYPD Officer’s Wake

Donald Trump attended the wake of fallen NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller on Thursday, telling the crowd of media outside afterward, “Police are the greatest people.”

If the J6 people are hostages, what does that make the Capitol Police?

As venal as trump may be - and make no mistake he's a venal as they come - thanks to SCOTUS it's all about money for all of them. If Dems could get away with selling bibles most of them would be on your church steps peddling them tomorrow morning.

Hobnobbing with the rich and wealthy, photo ops starting at $!00,000

Says something when the police support Trump, when NY cops tell Biden he is not welcome at the funeral, when the mayor of NYC is turned away,

Demonstrates the TRUE “TDS”; that trump himself isn’t one of, and a flaunting “rich and wealthy”.

p.s. Rich and wealthy mean the same thing…
“We won with poorly educated…" "I love the poorly educated!"
