Workers Say They Were Tricked and Threatened as Part of Elon Musk’s Get-Out-the-Vote Effort
America PAC door knockers were flown to Michigan, driven in the back of a U-Haul, and told they’d have to pay hotel bills unless they met unrealistic quotas. One was surprised they were working to elect Donald Trump...

The whole affair was a serious dick move by Musk. If he's so idealistic as to be a 'free speech absolutist', how the hell does he think this is in the good spirit of democracy, and not some third world corrupt politician schtick to buy votes???

I think that in his alpha male delusion, he thinks the libs have conspiratorially gotten too much power. The features of the delusion don't really matter but the delusion does. So he has to unbalance things in some arenas to bring the whole into balance (of course, he decides what the "balance" is). And he is just the MAN to do it - if he can keep Trump believing that it is to Trump's benefit to keep hyping Musk. That he might get into a position of ability to take control of more peoples lives and make even more money and maybe secede Trump as emperor is just incidental.

What he doesn't realize is the convicted felon is just as likely to deport him for immigration violations and take his toys in the process.
