What is everyone using to stream local sports? We wanted to watch the Lions game tonight yet we couldn't find a good inexpensive way to watch it. So, we moved on with life. We have a Roku and kind of gave up. Thank you.

As far as I have been able to find, there is no “cheap” way to stream NFL. But in my market, tonight’s game was on the local Fox affiliate….available over the air or on cable.

Even Sports Bar and a beer is cheaper than any streaming deal you could get.
My daughter got me roped into a family football pool, so I now care about EVERY game, all season long. Now, my relatives have ponied up for cable, a premium package, some kind of NFL+ thing, and Sunday Ticket/Red Zone/something that allows them to watch nine games at once... on a new, larger TV, of course.
So I did the math, and even spending the minimal, I saved more than $700 by watching the games at a local bar (that has 35 screens! It's like a low-rent Buffalo Wild Wings).
And that math included a couple of beers (preferably from whichever city I'm rooting for), a bacon burger, and the half order of tater tots that's more than I can finish.
