The name of the WW2 bomber Enola Gay was deemed to be DEI and has been removed from the Pentagon website. Also removed was a photo of U.S. Marine Corps World War II Medal of Honor recipient Pfc. Harold Gonsalves. The two were among 26,000 images purged as part of Trump's campaign against inclusivity. Most images were of women and minorities.

I wish we could purge the idiots who started this hate campaign.

They'll probably walk Enola Gay back with "Lies! We never REALLY removed it. Just updating the blah blah blah"

Aren't all those people dead anyway? There's no one around who can recall what happened. Pfft.

The result of this is that the only pictures allowed on the military sites will be white men.
Some of the pictures to be removed contain no language that could be construed as "DEI." They simply have images that contain women, people of color, or someone who is clearly not a white man.
So representing members of the military who happen to be women or people of color, etc is somehow unfair to white men?

It has never been about fairness, no matter what they SAY. Their ACTIONS show that it is about removing (or erasing) women and nonwhite men.
