At Costco the other day once of the sample stations had a sign for the following item.

"Japanese Octopus Balls".

I guess they don't want to waste any part of the Octopus.

As an American who has been to the UK numerous times this is Finally a very valid and real link/story.

"Bread and drippings" touch only the edge of the disgusting food in the UK.

"Chip shop rescue" every night as we used to say.

Is it any wonder that Kentucky Fried Chicken is the most popular FF restaurant in "Great Britain"

Eight zillion UK locations

100%. Needs to be said by one of the teeming crowd of way too drunk women with bad teeth after the pubs close and she's the only one from the hen party who didn't hook up.

There should be a contest between the Japanese and UK peeps as to who can drink more alcohol without losing consciousness.

Could really use fish and chips right now.

I don't know if this qualifies as disgusting, but no thread on British food is complete without it:

Not the most disgusting food I ever ate, but the worst food eaten was outside of London at a highway rest stop. Place called the Happy Eater. God that was awful, so bad I still remember it from over 40 years ago. Even the PB&J sandwich my sister had was awful. How does one screw that up?
