Started a 1-month trial membership of YouTube Premium Lite ($7.99/mo) and am really liking it so far. For $2 a week I can watch YouTube with no commercials. Totally worth it in my opinion. I've noticed the amount and length of commercials has been steadily increasing. And they play so many of the same ones. Over and over again. It was driving my insane. Especially the USAA commercials with Rob Gronkowski and Sam Elliott. LOL. After the free month, I'm letting it continue. I can of course cancel whenever.
You still see the sponsored ads that content creatorsimbed in the videos, but at least you can fastforward those. And there are some other limitations to commercials on YouTube Music, watching offline, and other stuff. Fortunately I don't regularly use those features.
2 simultaneous active YouTube Premium Lite sign-ins at the same time.

Hmm, I was not aware of the Lite option. I have the Premium version which is $13.99, I have Music from Apple Music included in Apple One and I don't really need to watch offline, so I guess I can try the Lite version to save a Beer per month

Yeah, the only mention I've ever heard about YouTube Premium Lite was that it was only available in other countries. I'm sure I could hunt it down, but if you have a link that gives you something, let us know. Thanks.

I don't see the Lite version, only to upgrade to a family plan.

I hear rumors that if you have a VPN and can choose different countries, put it on Albania. Supposedly they can’t put commercials on YouTube in Albania. Everything is still in English and searches and all work the same but no commercials. Or so I hear.

You have to scroll down the page a bit. It's there. Still some ads, though. I'd happily let them keep their music if I could get no ads at all.

No, it just does not show up for me. I scrolled, I even went to "manage my membership".
Maybe I need to cancel and then they let me see the cheaper option?
I see the premium Lite of I open a new Private Window. Which I closed by mistake and when i tried again in a new private window, I got this: Premium Lite is in the process of rolling out in your country. Please check back soon.
