this is not meant in jest, but after thinking about the families of the victims, my mind turned to the killer & what might have driven him to commit such a heinous act...

This sort of thing is so senseless and horrible that I usually end up thinking of Kurt Vonnegut's "bad chemicals" explanation as making as much sense as anything.

My sister and many here at work went there. Many others have kids there. Not everyone has checked in yet.

It's horrible. And the numbers seem to keep going up.

Good grief! The first time I spotted a brief mention if it, there was one death being reported. Then I spotted something else that said 2. When I saw the title of this thread, I thought someone's finger had stuttered, and then I noticed how quickly the toll was rising. How horrible, and how terrifying for anyone who has connections to the campus, especially those who have friends and loved ones they haven't heard from.
