OT: Fine Dining near Copley Square in Boston
#1
Will be in Boston over the Columbus Weekend and need a few recommendations for fine dining restaurants where I might entertain a client. Not looking to mortgage the homestead to pay for it all (ok, maybe I could be convinced to mortgage the homestead for a really fine meal), but not looking for a Chilie's either. Staying at the Copley Fairmount and heard great things about their steak house. Italian, French, interesting American - I'm at your mercy.

Fire at will.

P.S. Asked the same question a couple of years back for a fine restaurant near where we stayed in D.C. Whoever came up w/ Tirimisu (sp?) hit a grand slam - fabulous, absolutely fabulous (and only one month's salary instead of a mortgage.)

Aquitaine in the South End. 569 Tremont, between Clarendon and Dartmouth.
Phone: (617) 424-8577

It's a five minute walk.

Check out Davio's. It's one of my fav in the Copley area.

I haven't been there in a while, but from what I've read and heard, this has become a very nice restaurant rather than just a tourist attraction. And it's just a few blocks from where you'll be.

Not the cafeteria at Miles Standish (is it still there?)

There's a bunch of 'restaurants' there.
A fancy place in the Westin that's seafood (also why I've never been there), Papa rassi's (not a terribly fance place, but italian food) and a McDonald's or Burger King. Right near by that I can remember.
