Looking to upgrade (or try to upgrade) the harddrive in my replaytv. ..
The site that had been mentioned in the "others" forum, macreplaytv.com is gone. . .
I will check avsforum (but the search engine there sucks) so is there another place to get step-by-step instructions?
appreciate any links/help. ..

Easy to do. It's one good reason to have a Windows box around.
I'm a firm believer in the theory of doing a low level format or similar to prep the drive. Me, I do SpinRite on my Replay drives. Sure, a 300gb drive takes 48 hours; big deal.

Still not something I care to attempt and fail at, thereby risking my original RePlay drive, by using Terminal as described in the above links.

One of the only reasons that I have a Windows machine is to upgrade my RTVs (well, that and to run a dedicated DVArchive server). RTV Patch makes it pretty simple.
