Didn't see anything different from any other Friday Sale.. Same discounts off of over-inflated MSRP on the same merchandise they put out every week now.
Well Amazon's BF sale was nothing special

I beg to differ.
I have a very specific list that I've been trying to fill. I've checked every BF sale for the items on my shopping list... nobody else had much from the list on sale and none had decent prices EXCEPT Amazon, where they had all but 1 of the items on sale and I not only spent half of what I would have if purchased at any other BF sale, but on top of that -- with rebates -- I'm making a few bucks. Now if only this purchase is one of the lucky few where they don't screw up the free shipping...

What did you pick up, MacMagus?

Glad to hear it was better for you MacMagus.. I had some needs too and not one item was listed.

The best deals were the $6.99 MX Revolution laser mouse (regular $69, best previous offer @ Dell for $40) and the Quickcam for -$30-something dollars. (That's minus $30-something dollars.) I just noticed that the Quickcam is now $20 a/r and the mouse isn't listed in the sale anymore (and is back up to $70 when I search the site), so I guess it pays to get in there early!

Just a follow-up... the mouse has already shipped. The webcam (while listed as in stock and ready to ship today) has an estimated ship date of Dec. 6th.

I don't know if it's part of the BF sale or not, but the MacBook Pro 15" 2.4 from Amazon is $2,224.99 after a $150 rebate ($2375 before rebate, so already $125 off). I imagine the other laptops have similar discounts going for them.
