After weeks of using both, Azureus kicks transmissions butt!

There is just no competition between the level of performance of Azureus and Transmission. The only things I do not like with Azureus is it won't automatically stop seeding at an arbitrary share percentage.

Transmission not only lacks the sophistication to manage multiple torrents at one time, but is a huge resource hog. Often times it caused other apps to come to a crawl.

I have grown to appreciate TVShows (application). But, it rarely picks the torrent I would have if left to my own. But, it usually gets the job down with NEW eps. However, finding/re-finding old eps is hit and miss.

Okay, just my quicky review.

I don't know how to do it, but there has to be a way. Somewhere in all those settings...

Yeah, one would THINK SO.
I have sent out an expedition team of 7 able men to map the options. I expect to hear back from the advance party in spring of 08.

It's too early for this guessing!!

There's a plugin.

...Then he had thought about what his position actually was and the renewed shock had nearly made him spill his drink. He drained it quickly before anything serious happened to it. He then had another quick one to follow the first one down and check that it was all right.

...

He poured a drink down his other throat with the plan that it would head the previous one off at the pass, join forces with it and together they would get the second to pull itself together. Then all three would go off in search of the first, give it a good talking to and maybe a bit of a sing as well.

He felt uncertain as to whether the fourth drink had understood all that, so he sent down a fifth to explain the plan more fully and a sixth for moral support.

funny you posted about spilling a drink.

I was sitting here thinking my coffee was empty, but still desiring to do the old 'tip it all the way up for the last drop' move.

Well, much to my surprise, I still had a lot of coffee left and just poured it down my chin and onto my chest. Luckily, I'm playing hooky today, so it's just wet jammies.

"Bits on Wheels" is still the best.

It hasn't been updated in two years, but it still rocks.

Can BoW automatically add torrents it finds in a directory? Can it throttle bandwidth based on time of day (Schedule)? Can it auto stop seeding based on share ratio?

I don't know, that's why I am asking.

I find Azureus to be a clunky mhz hog, but I'm not really comparing it to anything.

To me Azureus used to be the tops, but it's gotten too complicated, taking up my whole screen with panels I don't want. When it was the only app that would let me skip certain files in a torrent, I liked it.

Transmission has much less clutter. Upgrading sometimes makes me lose data if some torrents are still open, but that's not a big problem for me.

Does TVshows work with Leopard?
