Another reminder of this time of year - the ol' nog hits the store shelves.
Nuttin like it in your cuppa joe... even the light nog does the trick!

Anyone tried the Silk Eggnog? I'm not lactose intolerant, but it looked good. I bought a quart last week. It's very smooth and not nearly as heavy as the cream-based stuff. It's worth a try.

I picked up some Eggnog ice cream and Spumoni at the Safeway when they were on special last week. So far I have resisted the temptation to indulge...

I usually get a quart of eggnog from the dairy case this time of year, for the holidays. Then I forget to drink it and it goes bad. I was hoping that the ice cream would last longer (or maybe not, if I remember to eat it).
