5PM CDT and still no MobileMe access
#1
Not surprised. Maybe a little. Just figured something would be up and rolling by now.

Got iTunes 7.7 installed, as well as the MobileMe System Update. iTunes tells me my iPhone software, 1.1.4, is the most current. And though I see the new MobileMe icon in System prefs, when I click it I get an error.

Email is working fine still, @me or @mac all seems to be working well. New MobileMe icons in the Accounts pref pane in Mail, but nothing else noticeable.

Not even showing a system update, here. :-(

I must've gotten it in that wink of an eye that it was available. Still nothing else, though.

You can probably get in if you log in at:

https://auth.apple.com/authenticate

I discovered that the apps are (a) really slow right now and (b) unusable on a 1024x768 screen with the dock at the bottom as there are controls that extend off the bottom of the screen without a vertical scroll bar.

It's going to be pretty embarrassing if they don't get it rolling by tomorrow, say 7 a.m. PDT.

Seriously, I access my dotmac mail primarily through the web... how long is Apple thinking I can live without it?

Earlier, yes. Not so much, now. :-)

10 PM CDT and still no access. No iPhone 2.0 update either.

I wonder if I'll still be greeted with the "Normal service will be restored soon" screen when I get up roughly 8 hours from now.

Not sure when it became "clear", but working now as of 6AM CDT.

And, to add, "wow".

However, still no iPhone 2.0

As of 9:20 am EDT, all I can see is a pretty Mobile Me screen that takes me to a QT tutorial that I can't get out of. My 38 e-mails are all sitting behind that tutorial but are grayed out.

Oh the agony!
