pure Everclear will scar your throat. Alcohol is hygroscopic in that purity, and it will pull the moisture out of your tissue.

The most potent mixed drink ever is Everclear + Gatorade. They called that "Grenades" when I was in college. Skips your bloodstream and goes directly to the central nervous system. Don't try it at home, kids...

It's used for tape head cleaner in the old-style recording and musicians like to drink it.
