If any of the statements are believable, they give insight into how Palin handles disagreement.

There have been a number of stories like this.

Rather than get into the details, lets just summarize it -

Palin: Unfit to lead.

I have not read every article on this topic, but I thought this one had a few little insights I hadn't seen before.

Wonder what this means:
The last straw, the McCain campaign said, was in July, when Monegan planned to travel to Washington to seek federal money for a plan to assign troopers, judges and prosecutors who could exclusively handle sexual assault cases - one of the state's most intractable crime problems.
Does Alaska have a sexual assault "problem?"

Yes. Alaska has the highest sexual assault rate in the nation.

The state average is 89 reported rapes per 100,000 people per year. The national average is 32 rapes per 100,000 people per year.

And supposedly the smaller the town in Alaska, the higher the rate of sexual assaults.

I looked for stats on small town rapes, but there's a dearth of information about them, excepting the town of Wasilla. It has a population of about 6,000 with about 2,000 of them women. A rape-kit in Alaska has an average cost of $600 and the police chief of Wasilla complained that if he had to pay for rape kits it would cost him in excess of $17,000 per year... that suggests that 28 women were reporting rapes each year in that town.

Since slightly more than half of all rapes in Alaska are supposedly unreported, that gives a rough estimate of the number of rapes up close to 60, or 1 rape per 100 people in Wasilla each year.

In July, the four Democrats and eight Republicans on Alaska's Legislative Council voted unanimously to investigate the circumstances of Monegan's dismissal.

If it is political, then it sounds like her own party is out to get her given that 2/3rd of that council are Republicans.

The Trooper at center of "Troopergate"admits he tasered his Stepson, poached a moose, had multiple reprimands and credible evidence says he drank in his patrol car. He has admitted to all of it but refuses to admit to drinking on the job.

I'm sorry, but tasing a child is enough reason to fire a police officer. If anyone here believes he was wrongfully fired please explain to me why it's okay to tase a child.

"Troopergate" is a load of BS to keep the media entertained. It's was an open and shut case the minute I heard the guy admit to tasering a kid.

Did you read this, or any article on the topic?
Palin's staff is claiming that the commissioner's dismissal had nothing to do with her brother-in-law. Are you saying they're defense is a complete lie? What a confusing web you weave.
You sure seem biased for an "undecided."

Please read up on the story just a tiny bit more. A quick summary is his boss got fired for not firing the trooper.

I didn't read the article. If that's the summary then the guy deserved to be fired. How can anyone defend keeping a trooper on the police force when he admitted to tasing a child? The trooper should have been fired and if his superiors didn't do it then they need to take heat for it.

Please, someone tell me why tasing a child is defensible.
