It's like deja vu all over again.

Yes, I've seen those articles, and how about this more basic problem: voter tampering and fraud. Still an issue for Florida (now a big tossup in this election), also a big problem for Ohio and some of the other battleground states.

NOT a problem for Ohio. Just as far as the media is concerned, and those idiots don't even get the facts right. Last general election we had more 'election monitors' watching over things in Cuyahoga County than we had official poll workers. Most of 'em were there to illegally politick closer than 100 feet from the polling place, IMHO.
And ain't nobody been looking at Cook County, IL, where the cemeteries are filled with loyal Daley voters. Most of whom successfully vote absentee from beyond the grave.

That's about as likely as Nancy Pelosi burning down the Senate Chamber with a gan of gas and a Zippo lighter.
Really. Everyone knows she'd use a butane torch, and napalm. She'd never use a Zippo.

And hey, don't knock vote tampering, it has a long history on both sides, without rigged voting JFK would never have gotten elected, and no Camelot to look back on. But then, we'd have had Nixon eight years earlier. As doomsday scenarios go, this article isn't nearly crazy enough to be realistic. LOL

There's something intriguing to me about a McCain/Biden (in fact, I'd probably vote for that if I could) or Obama/Palin administration. If for no other reason than to see the country go bananas. Really, how much worse could things get?

What I meant is we're considering handing over 750 billion dollars to an unelected official who until last week was telling us things weren't as bad as they seem. Not only that but he doesn't want anyone looking over his shoulder as he doles our tax money out to the people who created the problem.
Worse yet he is one of them. He's a Wall Street insider. Who's going to get the benefit of the doubt when he starts airlifting in and dropping pallets full of cash on the financial community? It won't be you or me. |
