Reflect on the number of new people an election like this brings into your circle of friends and acquaintances and how you'll take advantage of or let that opportunity lapse. Some of my closest friends today come from elections thirty-five years in the past.

I agree. I was looking forward to a week without any election news. unfortunately, my vacation turned into the Vacation From Hell and I spent a lot of time watching CNN.

No internet, though, which was nice (Wow! Never thought I'd say that!).
