Palin is campaigning for what?

No signage with McCain's name? Except what people brought with them? Yikes!

Who knows what she is doing at this point - she grates on me more each time I hear her grinding on some non-issue or another.

This is all well calculated. 100% devotation of resources to rallying the godheads.

I call BS on this.

The local news just showed footage from the rally and there were hundreds of McCain/Palin signs in the audience. I seriously doubt none of those were handed out at the rally.

You have to read the article Karsen.
There were two signs handed out at the rally.
But on closer inspection, the GOP nominee’s name was literally nowhere to be found on any of the official campaign signage distributed to supporters at the event.

Members of the audience proudly waved “Country First” placards as Palin delivered her stump speech. Those signs were paid for by the Republican National Committee.

The other sign handed out to supporters read “Florida is Palin Country,” but those signs were neither paid for by the Republican National Committee nor the McCain campaign. In small print, the signs were stamped with the line “Paid for and authorized by Putnam for Congress" — as in, the re-election campaign of Florida congressman Adam Putnam, whose district skirts Polk City.

It would appear that Adam Putnam doesn't want any McCain rubbing off on him.

I read the article.

My local news showed video footage of the event with hundreds of people holding signs that read McCain/Palin. I know this blogger says those signs were not handed out at the rally, but where's his proof? While it is possible all those people brought there own signs to the rally, I find it unlikely.

Maybe the blogger missed the booth that handed out the McCain/Palin signs, or maybe they were all handed out before he got there? Or maybe he's making up "news." I didn't see any mention of comment by the McCain campaign about this. Seems like a comment confirming or denying this would add a lot of credibility to his story.

She was in 3 places in Fla today. Maybe you saw footage from Gainsville and the ticket did something different there. It sure looks true from the picts from Polk and Ocala.

It's more likely that your local station was showing b-roll, generic footage to show a political rally.
