I kind of hate to see him go. He usually did a good job getting out the Liberal Left's talking points.

No, he didn't. His sole purpose was to be a give the appearance of being a foil for Hannity's blathering. See: Harlem Globetrotters vs. Washington Generals.

No need to kill the messenger, Don.

Too bad Mister Rogers passed away. He would have been a perfect replacement.

I must say I will not miss Colmes and lawdy lawdy I would not miss Hannity either. I never watch that show because I can't stand either one!

I wonder where Fox will find their next scary-looking liberal.

Why do those shows need their own pretend-conservative counterweights? They don't. Colmes was put on that show just to make Hannity look better to his target audience, nothing more. It was not a serious attempt at presenting Fox viewers with a liberal viewpoint. Pretending to put a point of view across just for appearance is worse than not trying at all.

For the record, I don't care for Olberman. He's much too pompous and I think his attempted appropriation of Edward R. Murrow's persona is embarrassing. His Worst Person segment is the only thing on his show that I think can be worthwhile. Hard Ball is better - Chris Matthews knows his business and he is good with the guests he has on.

"Chris Matthews knows his business and he is good with the guests he has on."

That wet spot on his trousers is so distracting though.

Does Matthews lets his guests get a word in these days?
