100M injection in PALM. Is it worth it?

I am remembering Franco, is he dead or is he not....in this case Palm seems to be one lucky duck. I thought they were dead....but they must be comatose.

I'm frikkin' amazed every time I see the Iomega logo on anything still.

I've heard rumors that they're ready to show their new Linux-based mobile OS pretty soon, like within the next couple of months. Most likely it will be too little, too late, no matter how good their new OS is, and I don't have very high expectations for it.

It would sure be nice to have an alternative to the iphone for those of us who cannot move to at&t. Given palms history of ignoring innovation and linux's history of making apps that only a pure genius could figure out how to run i'm not going to hold my breath waiting for this.

Palm actually has a big hit with it's Centro. They've sold millions and millions of them.
