You shouldn't have much trouble finding it locally. I don't think Amazon discounted it anyway.

Maybe it's always been this way, but Amazon really seems to have changed the way they list out of stock items. Instead of reporting an item as being "Out of Stock," they now just list is as if it's been discontinued. For instance, here's the item you are looking for, which I'm fairly certain was available a week or so ago and will most likely be available again in a matter of days.

It's probably too late to be sure that you can receive it by mail order... unless they have a delivery guaranty for Xmas.
