First post from my Christmas present!

I love the iPod Touch!

Best Christmas gift the boss ever gave me!

The typing is going to take a little practice.

This is my idea of the perfect PDA!

Congratulations! BTW, they make a soft touch stylus for typing on the touch and iPhone, if you don't get the hang of the virtual keyboard thing.

Slide, don't tap.
Also, as rgG said, get a Stylus.
Here is the one I bought and I caught the usual ForumCrap for suggesting these 2 for 3 buck items instead of 30 dollar gloves.

They work great.

I found the Touch to be so much more than a PDA. Yes it syncs with your calendar and address book but it is still an iPod with your music and photos and even videos. I provides WiFi access to the Internet and email. It has the ability to hold documents with static information: your health history, etc. Lately I've been using the dictionaries available at the app store including ones for translations between languages. There are now several apps for using it as a Kindle substitute.

My wife surprised the heck out of me last night with an iPod Touch. The
thing is awesome! My son tried the stylus from his Nintendo DS and
it didn't work. I think I'm going to have to get a case it. Is pushing the
button at the bottom the only way to return to the main screen? I've
already transfered my Contacts and all my Email accounts, it was
absolutely too easy! Going to Mom and Dad's now, hopefully there's a
WiFi that unsecure in the area. Nano's going on eBay. Have fun everyone!

Just a reminder to people with multiple iPod Touchs and iPhones, if you use the same iTunes on the same computer, all the applications and purchased music is available to all devices.

It does make syncing address book and other stuff a little more of a challenge.

That's the only way I've figured out so far.

That's what I wanted for Christmas. I don't think that I am getting one. Lucky you.
