my crazy 18 month old schnoodle is bounding back and forth across the back yard tossing a small branch - and sometimes a plastic watering can - up in the air and catching it. such uninhibited delight. it's a joy to watch him.
just thought i'd share a smile moment.

I get a laugh when I look across my yard to one of the neighbors dogs - a dachshund & mimi pinch mix.
Mickey's favorite toy is a 1 gallon milk jug that is bigger than him. He grabs it by the handle and hoists
it above his head and runs the human equivalent of 100 mph in circles for 15 minute stretches. Very amusing

I've been bringing my poochie (15 m.o. pointer mix) out in the snow for the first time this winter. Here she is running like a crazy dog through the snow:

A mastiff prancing around the yard showing off the stolen 10 gallon bucket (or snow shovel) is comical, too.
Just don't get hit by the bucket when it is 10 degrees outside.
Plastic handles have better grip when full of teeth marks.

MobileMe on the web absolutely sucks. I get complaints from plenty of other people as well. I dunno why I shell out $100 for this service...I don't have an iPhone.

The Scottie that was my first pet loved her volleyball. She punched a hole in it very early on so she could get a GREAT grip on it.
That volleyball was her favorite toy until the day she found the pie tin with the nuts and washers from my bicycle as I was taking it a part for cleaning. She grabbed that pan so fast that the parts all dropped into the grass directly below where they had been. I lost none of them and the chase to retrieve the pie tin was a lot of fun for both of us.
