We're sending my iMac to my wife's office and she wants to use her 20" Apple Display along with it. What connector do we use for that? I did look in the Apple Store but couldn't quite discern which one I would need.
It's a 2.0 Core Duo 2GB iMac running 10.5.6. And yes, my new one is ordered and is scheduled for Friday delivery! TIA.

The iMac has a mini-DVI port - get an appropriate adapter (mini-DVI to DVI or mini-DVI to VGA) to work with your external display...Apple has made more than one 20" display, right? :-)

Well, that's the interesting thing. When I look at the back of the monitor I see just one fat cord coming out of the center and nothing plugged in to the USB or FW ports. My buddy says that it splits into 4 different cords and he says to unplug that from the old computer and there should be a FW and a USB and plug each of those into the iMac. Apparently the monitor is powered thru the computer instead of separate AC cord. I'll check it out; I may not have to buy anything to do this.
