Maybe God is telling you something. Now go refill your solo cup with more cool-aid.

Bummer.

I had one arrive that had been knocked out of its foam packing pieces but the computer itself was fine.

Was this a refurb or built to order?

Ugh - they want me to send it in and they'll replace the screen rather than just send me another refurbished machine. I've asked to see if the latter is possible instead.

Sigh. Maybe Jobs is trying to tell me something.

If it's anything like the foam that my refurb arrived in, that's hard to picture, unless some UPS guys were playing soccer with that box. This is one thing I do have to give Dell credit for - the foam that mine arrived in cradled it pretty securely. Obviously, others haven't been so lucky. This might be because more recent orders are suffering poorer Quality Control, as the refurb assembly lines have been cranked into overdrive.

Sunsabistiches. (and FSCK for good measure) :villagers:

They're going to send me a box to send it back in and get a new screen.

But the question is - will the box they're sending you be damaged in transit before you receive it? If yes, will you have to place a claim for THAT also?
