A friend was sitting in the cafeteria at lunch this afternoon, a few tables over. All of a sudden one of the guys I was eating with jumped up and ran over. We turned and looked, and our friend was completely grey-white, eyes rolling up in his head, completely limp, mouth hanging open. The people sitting with him caught him and held him up.
Fortunately the work EMT's (we have a very professional group of EMT's here, it's a 'second job' for all of them), the company medical director and the doctor were all a few tables away, and ran over.
They got him to the floor, assessed, got him on O2, stablized. He came to after a few minutes, and they took him off to the hospital.
Just got an email from him- he's fine, the hospital couldn't find anything wrong.
Man ! He scared the hell out of all of us- he looked just plain dead.
