I watched the most recent episode of House last night. I need to start watching it more diligently. That is a really good show. I've only seen 3 episodes, but it easily exceeds most of what is on TV. The episode last night reminded me of the final episode of MASH with the delusions and subconscious trying to manipulate the conscious. For the whole episode I kept thinking 'this isn't making sense entirely'. It worked, it was logical, but the characters weren't behaving logically, then the final scene made it all make sense.

i have found it really handy to have a TIVO that can record 2 shows at once. before this one, I would TIVO one show and VCR the other.

Easy decision for me because...
1) I don't actually watch anything live except news and the occasional sporting event (and even those are usually either recorded or at least buffered in a DVR).
2) I have some HDTV reception trouble with my local NBC affiliate so I won't even try to record it. I will watch Heroes either through Hulu or download the episode.

I'll record both but watch House live. I like to take my time watching Heroes.
I got lucky because normally I would have wanted to watch the Scrubs reruns from 8 - 9 on Comedy Central. They're showing last season now and I've only seen the tail end of that season. Lucky for me, tonight they're showing two episodes I've already seen.
Thursday should be good too, I'm really looking forward to seeing Fast Forward. After that, the season premiere of The Mentalist.

Presently, I can only record via analog converter, so it's a matter of asking which I enjoy more in OTA HD.
I'm watching House and recording Heroes.
BTW: New episodes of Castle and CSI Miami at 10pm.
Castle/CSI fans may have a similar conundrum.

This is when I'm glad I took some time and programmed Miro to d/l all the shows I want to watch - I can delete any that I watch live or that I've got on the DVR - since my current setup doesn't allow for recording something other than what we are watching. Seems like all the shows I want to see are lining up on the same nights - and several other nights are wastelands!

Heroes lost me last year. Too much jumping around from place to place,
time to time, same person from two different times in the same place.
Bring back "4400".
