It's the price you pay.
Removing noise often removes information as well. Besides, the old folks will get the feeling of shellac, vinyl, and wax cylinders and feel right at home.
Oh, and-- WOW! That deal covers a w - i - d - e range of vocal styles.

The Downloader is fine. It's silly to miss out on these great deals for some unwarranted paranoia.
