A nice Alpine full-logic cassette deck, blankets, a Nikon 8008 for cheap and a female or 2 or 3.

The last trip we did we parked on the US side and walked back and forth. I would have bought a churro, given the opportunity.

Way back when i was just married, my ex and i walked across from El Paso to Juarez. Shortly into our walk, an approx. 12 yr old kid came up to us and asked if we wanted drugs ( I admit my physical appearance may have given him that impression).
I said no.
He asked "You want to get married?"
I said we already are.
"You want to get divorced?"

The kid was ready for anything.

At the risk of taking a happy/silly thread and making it all serious,
I've never been to the actual country of Mexico . . .
Anyone here been recently? Willing to describe your experience?
Would like to go live there for at least a few months . . .
Thanks.

Upholstery. I had both my 57 Chev BelAir ragtop and my 58 Corvette (at different times) done in tuck and roll in Tijuana. There were rumors that the'd fill the pleats with weed but no such luck.

Observe closely the pleats on the seat as seen through the RH side of the windshield

Sharp eyes will note other subtle differences between the pictures - same car though.
