Any iPad First Impressions?
#1
I didn't buy one, but I played with one at my local Apple store today. The iPad is very cool, but after holding it for 10-15 minutes, I realized it was a lot heavier than I expected. I think I'd want to prop it up on something if I used it for any length of time - I don't think it would be comfortable to use standing up. I also couldn't figure out how to type on the virtual keyboard with two hands because as soon as I tried to position my hands, the keyboard started typing. I guess it's supposed to be a 1-2 finger typing keyboard?

Dude, read the forum.

"Dealchat is dead! Long live MRF!"

Dude, do we really need to keep reading that sentiment over and over and over again every time you post something? What's the point?

Dude, don't you realize that something like this gets pretty lame after at most the second time you post it?

Dude, do yourself a favor and drop that embarrassing part of your signature.

Dude, I was going to agree with you - I have been meaning to change it back, after all - but instead I think I'll just ask you to eff off.

How 'bout getting a room and telling each-other to eff off where nobody else has to read it?

This is much more fun than reading about the iPad.

At the risk of taking the original point of this topic seriously...

I noticed the weight issue, too, but found that after I bought a case for it (the standard Apple brand one, which I like very much) using it with a case, it feels lighter and more manageable. It's definitely not comfortable to use without a case. With one, much better.

I have noticed that the weight does get to be a little bit of a factor, after a while, so I may get a case/stand at some point. I am waiting to see what aftermarket stand/cases become available or I can always get the Apple one.
