Interesting: Kensington sale going on at Megamacs
#1
Just got email about this:

http://www.megamacs.com/v1/kens.php?&BL=1

... for those of us who know Kensington, you know they make good stuff... especially the trackballs and carrying cases, but other stuff too.

Best company ever. Have replaced mouse in a box multiple times no questions asked.

They also make the only adb optical mouse (it's also usb).

G-man, have a look at their Expert Mouse Pro USB-- that's one heck of a trackball, and a very nice deal on it.

And yes, best company ever. Here's an old post of mine on the subject, pretty unbelievable story: http://forums.dealmac.com/read.php?1,225...85#2256885

their mouseware software is pretty darn good too (at least the OS 9 version is)

Racer X, I'd say the X version isn't bad either... at least, it's done all that I've asked of it.

Longtime Orbit trackball user. Currently using the Optical version and still like it a lot. Bummer it has no dedicated scrollwheel; the chord-and-track-vertically thing to approximate a scrollwheel just wasn't that useful for me.

They've got the Microsaver Notebook Locks at a darned good price. They're like $40 if you walk into an Apple Store and buy one.

Silencio, no experience with it, but you might have a look at this: http://www.marcmoini.com/sx_en.html

And yes, those notebook locks are tempting. My major complaint with most of them is that they make the cable too thin, such that you could easily cut through with a good pair of wirecutters. APC makes some with really heavy duty cable, but I've not seen those around recently.
