Agreed on the wicking need. Costco sells tops and bottoms from a brand called Paradox that are reasonable. I use them all winter on my rides which range from 20-50+ miles. Silk long undies are also nice for days when it's not as cold and you want less bulk. Campmor, etc. have these.

Wicking underwear is pretty standard ski apparel and is readily available at ski outlets.

mick e has always subscribed to the Don Draper approach - Keep a clean pair of slacks and pressed shirt at the office.

Sometimes mick e needed these items on days where he DIDN'T ride his bike to work, but that may be a story for the other side.
