Glad that made it in, but what does "nearly" mean - sounds like there are still some exceptions....

I think that's, at most, all that will make it past the House - and like you said with the "nearly", it's likely to be watered down; that is, if any gun regulation bill can get by the House. What the Senate passes is almost irrelevant other than providing some push for the House to pass at least a fig leaf of a bill.

Basically the thinking is: "I don't see why I should have to sacrifice what I want based on the brutal deaths of people I don't know." That's a perfectly legal and legitimate concern. It's just not moral.
