While I do agree that this is a ridiculous situation. There's nothing in the article to suggest the sensationalist reaction you've posted here.
I disagree. I think the mere action of shooting and killing a chihuahua in this manner is proof enough that the person is well capable of such craziness. In case there was any confusion, I didn't mean the child would be killed intentionally (although, with such craziness on display, one can never really know).

I was suggesting that perhaps NRA advertisers need to look elsewhere. Trouble is, the only places to look for options are either anachronistic -harkening back to a metaphorical wild west in which men had small dicks and no aggression impulse control - or utterly invented- your school, wife, daughter or self will be safe and protected by virtue of carrying a gun.
There are no poster boys for the NRA that pass even the most cursory inspection for veracity.
Except possibly for those people who are still living at the fringes of the natural world and really do have polar bears coming through their doors at night, as I've said before.

Can't we just all add a slogan to our sigs as to whether we are for or against gun control and simply stop discussing it? And from my experience in London, that's very applicable to Brits. Good thing you have restrictive gun laws. I felt unsafe anyway.
