Space,

That could be due to getting the label via Amazon.com. If you use your own UPS account, the label gets voided immediately. At least this is how it works with my office.

PSurfer,

USPS labels print nicely on UPS two-labels per page label paper. No problems at all printing on our office laser or inkjet printers. The hardest thing to remember is which way to load the label into the given machine.

Sapce,

Yups! I use'em all the time for UPS and occasionally for Fedex and USPS. If you tell UPS not to print the "instructions" you can get two labels per page.

We print a slew of single labels. This leaves us with tons of label papers that still have a blank label on it. Once we have enough of them on hand, I reload the label paper to make use of the labels.

This is when having a printer with dual paper trays is very handy. We do nearly all of our label printing with our Officejet Pro 8100 which has dual trays. One tray for plain paper. Second tray for labels. Or, one tray for fresh labels. The other tray for "reworks" to get use out of the second label. How we have it configured depends on the day and number of spare labels on hand.

do you leave ""for UPS shipping only" on the label or you trim it off?

Space,

Not anymore. I used to nip it off with the paper cutter but then I realized nobody but UPS might care. So, I just print the label, slap it on the box, done.
