If the US is going to unilaterally rip up the nuclear accord and impose sanctions (for...um...being bad in general), and the EU isn’t going to do anything, then Iran can in turn, sequentially and deliberately, violate the nuclear terms of the original accord. Which they are doing, very publicly.
And at the same time they’re launching random covert, yet largely ineffectual military strikes?
Uh, maybe. But with actors like Trump, Netanyahu, and the Saudi royal family all deeply invested in war with Iran, I can’t help but see alternate explanations...

I'll add to this that its quite possible Iran did indeed shepherd this attack since Yemen isn't known for being able to do these longer-range missions.
But the reason why it's still B.S. is because the U.S. has completely left anything resembling Iran dealings to both the Saudis and Isreal, either one of which would *love* to be victimized in such a way as to draw the U.S. into a war for them.

Israel's election is Tuesday. Netanyahu is playing this one as hard as he can.
There's still a chance he will be defeated. If so, the charges against him will go forward.
