Double sided tape? Some of that stuff is really strong and thin; I have never had a problem with latex paint or rattler can enamel lifting when I remove double sided tape.

Goop glue. Super strong silicone type glue.

I'd think some silicone sealer would work well in that situation.

You could glue the whole thing down or just tack it in a few spots.
