I thought something very similar.

Though I like it, it made me thing of Beeezo giving a giant 'Screw you!' to customers and competitors alike.

My guess is that it's highly doubtful that this building could ever be built due to ADA regs, so it's just an architect's pipe dream.

The area it is going into already has a lot of office buildings dating free m the 70s. I suspect they are not being demolished. Also the crystal city complex is zoned for relatively low height so no skyscrapers.

Looks great. Much better than a boring box. I bet this glittering jewel for the 1% AMZN executives is an interesting contrast to the shipping freight warehouses the vast majority of Amazon employees work at.
