Last conversation at a crappy job years ago:
Me: "You're being a real as$hole about this."
Him: "Well, if you don't like it, you know what to do."
Me: "Yes I do; don't let the door hit me on my way out."
Gathers up personal things & removes tape playing in the office boombox.
Me: "Fck you, fck you, & especially FCK YOU!"
Exits office with boss standing there with mouth open & several coworkers grinning broadly.
That was one of the greatest feelings EVER! Within a week I had a much better job, working with actual human beings.

My boss put in an ethical quandry, so I went to her boss and said, "First off, I'm here for my kids, and I will do the best I can while I'm here..."
She seemed to like that. The ethical quandry was corrected.

fortunately, I like my boss. And he knows I hate my job.
