Verizon Android Phone? - chopper - 06-16-2012 Any suggestions on which Android-ish smart phone to buy on Verizon? We don't yet have 4G here in the hinterlands but they say "it's coming". Mostly really like my Droid X. Re: Verizon Android Phone? - Fritz - 06-16-2012 My spouse and I have HTC Sensations on T-Mo. I would guess that's a Rezound on VzW. Her bro has a Galaxy S III that he likes on VzW. We were always happy with the LGs we had. Re: Verizon Android Phone? - LaserKun - 06-16-2012 Nooooooo! Get iPhone. My advice. Re: Verizon Android Phone? - John B. - 06-16-2012 I've had a (work-issued) Moto Razr Maxx on Verizon for about 3 days now. Seems fine so far. I've already figured out that it doesn't fit cases designed for the Razr (non Maxx). Re: Verizon Android Phone? - SDGuy - 06-16-2012 Can't recall the details, but Verizon has a number of phones with inductive charging as an option; for myself, that'd be a huge selling point - getting kinda tired of replacing the micro usb cable every 1.5-2 months... If Apple doesn't offer that on the next iPhone, they are making a mistake, IMHO. Re: Verizon Android Phone? - vision63 - 06-16-2012 Recognize that Verizon has announced dramatically different plans. http://news.cnet.com/8301-1035_3-57454463-94/confused-about-verizons-family-share-plans-youre-not-alone/ Re: Verizon Android Phone? - sunfalcon - 06-16-2012 Wife has the new Razr as well and loves it. So now is your chance to explain why the OP should go with an iPhone. Re: Verizon Android Phone? - LaserKun - 06-17-2012 Sorry, silvarios, I was typing that on my iPod touch and did not want to type much. I just like the iPhone better, that's all. I was kind of jesting...; if an Android does what chop needs, it seems the above advice about Razr, HTC, etc. is good. My friend has a Motorola and likes it. Me, I'll stick with iPhone. |
