Verizon Android Phone?
#1
Any suggestions on which Android-ish smart phone to buy on Verizon? We don't yet have 4G here in the hinterlands but they say "it's coming".

Mostly really like my Droid X.

My spouse and I have HTC Sensations on T-Mo.
I would guess that's a Rezound on VzW.
Her bro has a Galaxy S III that he likes on VzW.
We were always happy with the LGs we had.

I've had a (work-issued) Moto Razr Maxx on Verizon for about 3 days now. Seems fine so far. I've already figured out that it doesn't fit cases designed for the Razr (non Maxx).

Can't recall the details, but Verizon has a number of phones with inductive charging as an option; for myself, that'd be a huge selling point - getting kinda tired of replacing the micro usb cable every 1.5-2 months...

I bought an inductive charging system for my iPhone. I got hooked on inductive charging with my Pixi Plus. If Apple doesn't offer that on the next iPhone, they are making a mistake, IMHO.

Recognize that Verizon has announced dramatically different plans. http://news.cnet.com/8301-1035_3-5745446...not-alone/

While you didn't really give much of a try in answering the original question, I appreciate the sentiment towards wanting to help people make the best decision possible. So now is your chance to explain why the OP should go with an iPhone.

Sorry, silvarios, I was typing that on my iPod touch and did not want to type much. I just like the iPhone better, that's all. I was kind of jesting...; if an Android does what chop needs, it seems the above advice about Razr, HTC, etc. is good. My friend has a Motorola and likes it. Me, I'll stick with iPhone.
