Election results by Tuesday bedtime: yes or no? - prymsnap - 11-05-2012 Do you think we'll go to bed Tuesday night knowing who won the election? Or will east coast issues and other challenges delay the final results? Re: Election results by Tuesday bedtime: yes or no? - cbelt3 - 11-05-2012 No. Possible. Way. It's gonna be tied up in Court until December. Re: Election results by Tuesday bedtime: yes or no? - Lemon Drop - 11-05-2012 prymsnap wrote: My guess is that we'll know at 8 PM PST. One or two states might be undecided for a few days, like in '08, but not enough to make a difference. I think this because I expect the President to receive over 300 EV's. Of course cbelt could be right too...who knows, we'll see. If you're throwing the election party plan for late night guests. Re: Election results by Tuesday bedtime: yes or no? - mrbigstuff - 11-05-2012 I'm wondering how late to keep the kids up on a school night so we can watch the returns with friends at their house. Re: Election results by Tuesday bedtime: yes or no? - michaelb - 11-05-2012 I really hope so, 2000 was brutal that night, and one of the low points in this country's history. Re: Election results by Tuesday bedtime: yes or no? - graylocks - 11-05-2012 Seen the morning light Seen the morning light And it's not because I'm an early riser I just never got to sleep last night Re: Election results by Tuesday bedtime: yes or no? - PeterB - 11-05-2012 I really hope that Obama wins by a significant enough electoral margin for there to be no doubt and no contest. I'm counting on those Ohioans, Iowans, Nevadans, and Colorado folks (Colorodians?) to make the difference. Re: Election results by Tuesday bedtime: yes or no? - Surfrider - 11-05-2012 I agree with PeterB. Although if Romney loses, the Rethugs will set off fireworks, of a sort, all over the country, trying to riot up the joint. Eventually it will calm down but the anti-Obama rhetoric won't. They'll start beating the drums immediately for the 2014 Congressional campaign. They have a system of herding the cattle they know works, they won't let it rest. |
