Postage Cost Calculation - mjgkramer - 07-19-2016 I used the USPS site to determine the cost to mail a 9 inch by 12 inch envelope with stiffening card board and weighing 4 ounces to Quebec City G1X 2C2 from ZIP 78132. Cheapest cost was $9.50, which seems way too high and is more than I would want to pay. Is that amount correct? Re: Postage Cost Calculation - Acer - 07-19-2016 EDIT: Just noticed the International aspect. My advice may not apply. EDIT #2: It's the stiffening board making it unbendable that's killing you. Less than $3 without that, but only available at the counter. Re: Postage Cost Calculation - OWC Jamie - 07-19-2016 You need the stiffener ? I've sent papers in file folder first class and they've been bendy enough. ( not international though ) Re: Postage Cost Calculation - hal - 07-19-2016 You're doing it wrong (thanks to a web page designed for confusion) - it's $2.91 if shipped from 95825 (Sacramento, CA) ![]() ![]() Re: Postage Cost Calculation - OWC Jamie - 07-19-2016 hal wrote:There's an upcharge on the page before that if you claim the envelope is not 'bendy'. Re: Postage Cost Calculation - Dennis S - 07-19-2016 International postage is a lot more expensive than it used to be.
