One World War II-era T-34 tank.

The other tanks all called in their apologies, had commitments elsewhere.

I assume that means all the other T-34s are being refurbished for service in Ukraine?

Re: One (1) Tank? - Racer X - 05-10-2023

yes, Russia is low on just about everything.

Except nukes. They have lots of nukes and one very itchy trigger finger.

Re: One (1) Tank? - Racer X - 05-10-2023

yes, but that would trigger a world against Russia situation.

Do you think so?

Yes, they would be more isolated than now. But do you think China wouldn't look the other way?

I'm not so sure.

If Russia were to use all its nukes, or any number of them that triggered an escalation in the use of nuclear weapons between USSRRussia and NATO, there wouldn't be much of a world left.

On the plus side, global warming won't be an issue anymore...

Keep in mind there is a sneaking suspicion that the weapons in the Russian inventory may also have been victims of the kleptocracy. Tritium, for example, is valuable. And without it the fusion bombs fizzle.

Exactly why a lot of people think that they won't use those if not pushed to the edge, there are nothing to gain from starting a nuclear warfare. They probably only going to use it when there is nothing left to lose
