How'd Disney fit 54 GB onto one DVD? - Ironhorse - 04-04-2009 What version of MTR did you use? I couldn't get it to work with 3.0-R14d. Thanks Re: Wow. How'd Disney fit 54 GB onto one DVD? - jimbrady - 04-04-2009 Nope 54GB. Took 2.5 hours. Some sort of anti-piracy voodoo. I used v2.66 of MTR... v3.x has failed consistently for me lately (though I've not tried very many titles). Re: Wow. How'd Disney fit 54 GB onto one DVD? - karsen - 04-04-2009 Bolt is 5.45 GB when ripped with RipIt. Re: Wow. How'd Disney fit 54 GB onto one DVD? - jimbrady - 04-04-2009 Yeah, should be between 5 and 8 GB I figure, but somehow the drive it went onto went fro 210+ of free space down to 160 GB. Re: Wow. How'd Disney fit 54 GB onto one DVD? - macphanatic - 04-04-2009 It has to do with the newer copy protection system. Not sure how it works, but it adds to the file size. I've seen this happen with a few dvd's. Re: Wow. How'd Disney fit 54 GB onto one DVD? - Gareth - 04-04-2009 Yea, Wally was 80+ GB's for me and it didn't play back correctly (MTR 2.66). Re: Wow.
