Wow. How'd Disney fit 54 GB onto one DVD?

Just ripped Bolt with MTR and it comes out to 54.47 GB.

What version of MTR did you use? I couldn't get it to work with 3.0-R14d.

Nope 54GB. Took 2.5 hours. Some sort of anti-piracy voodoo.

I used v2.66 of MTR... v3.x has failed consistently for me lately (though I've not tried very many titles).

Bolt is 5.45 GB when ripped with RipIt.

Yeah, should be between 5 and 8 GB I figure, but somehow the drive it went onto went fro 210+ of free space down to 160 GB.

I'd run Disk Warrior on it. Something's screwy.

It has to do with the newer copy protection system. Not sure how it works, but it adds to the file size. I've seen this happen with a few dvd's.

Yea, Wally was 80+ GB's for me and it didn't play back correctly (MTR 2.66).
