That's what I do when I see kids throwing a loud screaming fit in a grocery store or public place. I throw a pretend tantrum. The look on their faces is priceless. It takes their minds off crying and they can't believe what they are seeing.

I think the bigger question is: Is it OK to do something mean to your kids for your own purposes, film their reaction, and broadcast it on a social media medium with millions of viewers and, vicariously, on national television?

A few of the clips were clearly fakes.
The funny thing is that my kids wouldn't have believed me at all - I pull their leg all the time. It's very important they understand the difference between what someone tells them and what they can discover for themselves.
But if one of my kids threw a temper tantrum like they show over candy, that'd probably be the last year they'd be able to keep more than one or two from Halloween in the future. And I'm sure I'd have been LMAO while they did it, if I weren't too disgusted by their spoiled behavior.
