I think you guys are missing the point of my original post. I was making a joke about the fix being in, because the guy was already taking about how Obama was doing 100 days into his presidency.

Did you listen to the half hour ad ?
100 days of accomplishing nothing is mentioned.

Study: Media coverage has favored Obama campaign

Oct 31, 9:19 PM (ET)

By DAVID BAUDER

NEW YORK (AP) - John McCain supporters who believe they haven't gotten a fair shake from the media during the Republican's candidacy against Barack Obama have a new study to point to. Comments made by sources, voters, reporters and anchors that aired on ABC, CBS and NBC evening newscasts over the past two months reflected positively on Obama in 65 percent of cases, compared to 31 percent of cases with regards to McCain, according to the Center for Media and Public Affairs.

full story here.

Hmmm. Here's a different take on the Center for Media and Public Affairs study cited:

http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-...2999.story

"During the evening news, the majority of statements from reporters and anchors on all three networks are neutral, the center found. And when network news people ventured opinions in recent weeks, 28% of the statements were positive for Obama and 72% negative."

The first 100 days are historically considered very important for a new President. It's often looked at as a benchmark for the remainder of a Presidency, especially in this age when a first term President begins campaigning for re-election shortly after he's sworn into office.

I don't think 100 days was a time frame pulled out of thin air by the guest.

No matter. Wing-nuts are already blaming Obama for problems. I'm sure the country will be in ruins (in their opinion) within 100 days.

There was a 'honeymoon period' that coincided with a number of other things.

Republicans aren't noted for adhering to rules of political fair play or conduct. Expect them to come out attacking with or without reason at first opportunity.
