A non sequitur, red herring, and distraction all in one. A footnote, signifying nothing in the vast absence of context.
What are you talking about?
The leader of one of the most prominent right-wing movements in the U.S. is a police informant and collaborator. He's been exposed as not only a bigot, but as a complete hypocrite.
It's important to expose the depth of these so-called leaders' two-faced nature. When it came time to save his own hide, he had no issues with joining forces with the police...
I think you’re viewing this through your eyes, but not the eyes of the deplorables.
1. The police are supported slavishly by them; helping the police is always a positive.
2. He
“helped authorities prosecute... cases involving drugs, gambling and human smuggling.” All things the majority of deplorables will support disrupting.
1. Dude, he was only "helping the police" because he was a busted criminal. It's not like being a professional bigot is his second career, after his first one as an undercover officer.
2. Say what you want, but nobody likes a rat. Especially when you know that the FBI is hot on your and your friends' tails looking for reasons to prosecute you.
OK, we'll watch and see how the deplorables spin this as it plays out.
