[quote deckeda]I will say, that on Saturday I threw a toilet onto the front lawn, with some of the carpet from the bath I'm tiling now. Being that trash gets hauled today because of Labor Day, that made for a nice "display" for about 3 days. My dad came by one day and covered up the toilet (and presumably my shame) with the carpet.
Last year we replaced the toilet (stool) in our bathroom. The old toilet sat out on our front lawn for several hours. When a friend commented on the strange addition to the front yard I responded "Darn! I told the kids to put their toys away when they were done playing with them!"

You people tossed 5 gallon flush toilets instead of selling them for a premium??
People like Wurm seek those out!!!

You ask him why.... I'm not going near it.

Well, down here in Mississippi when you get a new(er) couch for the living room, you put the old one on the front porch.. we call em "porch couches".
(do a google search - there are coffee table books FULL of porch couch pics and tours)

Since that house has no porch I have to guess its either not in the south, or it was originally built somewhere else, moved, and the porch was not rebuilt.

No porch, hence, no ability for a porch couch..

So they improvised with some old hemp rope they had in the back of the truck and made a couch swing. Give it a few weeks - the rope will break and the couch will sit in the mud.
(btw, first good rain storm it should start smellin like a wet dog REAL FAST)
